Country superstar Brian Kelley and his wife Brittney Kelley have launched the Chill Cowboy Country Club NFT collection aimed at country music fans. The limited NFT collection of 6000 comes with some knee-slapping utilities and can be minted on their site.
Although not the first country stars to enter the NFT space, Parker McCallum launched a fanbase NFT collection back in December last year, Florida Georgia Line’s, Brian Kelley has his sights set higher.
In an interview with Blockster, he explained how as they delved deeper into Web3, they realized they could make this more than one project. he said, “we learned very quickly that if we teamed that up with a high, utility-based project and platform, it makes a lot of sense.”
He goes on, “We want to build an amazing community full of dreamers, schemers, life lovers, music lovers, and entrepreneurs. A community that’s backed by web3, blockchain technologies because that’s the future.”
Brian and Brittney Kelley believe they are creating something different from previous country music NFT collections.
Brittney Kelley talked about linking like-minded people, stating, “It’s about bringing the fans into a collective group. The fans are kind of siloed in their favorite artist fan clubs, and this in my opinion would be one of the first clubs that as a collective — not only the fans, the songwriters, the music industry folks, the artists — they’re all brought together in this club.”
The club will involve both educational elements and recreational activities and act as a safe space for fans to learn about Web3.
The Chill Cowboy Country Club (CCCC)
The team bill the project as the ultimate country music club for country fans. The CCCC was built on the Ethereum blockchain and consists of 6000 unique NFT cowboys and cowgirls, generated from more than 260 traits. Artist Benedict Aiteobhor designed the collection.
The CCCC NFTs cost a flat rate of $500 and come in 3 tiers, General Admission, VIP, and Legendary. Each buyer has an equal chance of minting a higher-tier collectible.
Fan and Community utility
Chill cowboy country club NFTs come with some serious rewards. First up is admission to Chill Cowboy Fest, their exclusive country festival.
Other utilities include exclusive access to unreleased music, backstage videos and IP rights to your Chill Cowboy NFT artwork.
Further exciting perks of note are access to chat and rub virtual shoulders with your favorite country stars and music industry insiders, real-life and virtual concerts, members-only designer clothing, and exclusive access to host people at parties.
With all these utilities, they intend to introduce country fans to Web3 and build a country community.
The Chill Fest
Only NFT holders will gain VIP access to the future Chill Cowboy Fest. Chill Fest will be a once-a-year party built with the help of members.
The fest is envisioned as an upscale country club experience with “music, brands and immersive experiences”. Also, present at the fests will be other country music stars and personalities.
Other partners in the project include Tim Rice, Duck Dynasty’s Jep and Jessica Robertson, Drake White, Tyler Braden, Liz Rose and Chase Rice.
After the initial drop, CCCC will launch a utility dashboard for NFT holders to redeem goodies, including concert tickets.
Afterthoughts
Although the NFT market continues to flounder in this crypto winter, many new and exciting projects continue to launch. If Chill Cowboy Country Club goes to plan, these NFTs will give owners years of exciting perks for years to come.
